Worship in community is a beautiful expression of the local church. We gather together weekly around the Word of God, collective worship and celebration, prayer and communion. We sing songs. We study the story of Jesus. We celebrate good stories. We pray for each other. We share in the Lord's Supper. We laugh together. We drink really good coffee.
Our service includes an engaging message from the Bible, along with worship through singing together, prayer, and communion. You don’t need to know all the words, or dress a certain way. We want you to come as you are to experience who God is and what He’s done.
When you arrive, you'll be warmly greeted by a friendly face who is happy to help you any way they can. We share in fellowship and Alabaster Coffee. You can find helpful info cards placed in the pews to learn more about us.
For families with young children, we have an environment called City Kids with a nursery for infants and classes for kids 2 years old to 6th grade. Drop off for City Kids opens 15 minutes before the gathering begins.
Our hope is that each Sunday will provide an atmosphere where you can be creatively engaged in responding to God’s love and grace in worship and community. We do all of these things to experience the Gospel together in community and celebrate the God who loves us.
Our gatherings are shaped around four simple rhythms each week:
Call
We open our services by reading a Psalm together and singing songs as a congregation.
Word
We read and teach Scripture through the lens of the Gospel message of Jesus and give space to prayerfully reflect on the Word of God.
Response
We follow the sermon by inviting us to share in a worshipful response to hearing God's Word through song, prayer, confession, and communion.
Blessing
We close every gathering by sending us out with the peace of God to be the peace of God to our city.
We’ve created a podcast where you can listen to past messages from our Sunday gatherings:
iTunes | Spotify | Google Play
We curate a Spotify playlist called City Alliance Hymnal to help you become familiar with the songs we sing.
Listen
If you've become part of our congregation and are interested in serving with our worship band, we'd like to hear from you.
